Use the extension on a job page

Score the posting you are reading, fill the application form in front of you, and read what the popup is telling you afterwards.

Two buttons matter on a job page: the score, and the fill.

Score the posting you are reading

1. Open the posting.
2. Open the popup and press Show my match score here. Accept the site permission in that click.
3. The badge appears on the page.

Where you have more than one CV, all of them are scored against that posting in one pass, ranked, and the best one is opened first. The document to send is named rather than guessed at.

The score is worked out on your machine by the same engine the website runs. The advert goes to the extension's own background worker and the number comes back. Your resume does not leave the browser.

It reads Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Personio, employers' own careers pages and school careers portals, by reading the standard job posting markup rather than by knowing each site individually, with a small table of adapters for boards that publish neither form of it.

Fill the application form

1. Open the application form itself, not the listing page.
2. Open the popup and press Fill this page.
3. Read every field before submitting.
4. Press the employer's own submit button.

The fill button needs an active Pro Max plan or a campus licence. Where the account does not have it, the popup says so and offers the pricing page.

What gets filled: your contact details, your history, the tailored document as an upload, and screener answers you have written before. What does not: consent boxes, and anything about work authorisation, visa status, citizenship, clearance, criminal record, disability, veteran status, ethnicity, gender or date of birth.

A required field with no answer behind it is left blank and marked. That is deliberate. A visible gap costs you thirty seconds; a plausible wrong answer costs you the application.

The plan check

A positive answer is cached for fifteen minutes, so filling six forms in a row is six local reads. With no connection at all, a positive answer stays usable for a day and the popup says it was checked earlier. A refusal is never cached, so an upgrade takes effect immediately.

Boards it will refuse

LinkedIn is blocked outright: the extension never runs there, and nothing is filled or submitted on it, because automating that site risks your own account. Workday, SuccessFactors, iCIMS and Taleo are excluded as well, since applying on them needs credentials the employer issues.

On those, use the copy-out screen described in apply by hand on a manual board.

If nothing appears at all, work through when the extension shows nothing.
