Your data, and how to delete it
What is held, what never leaves your browser, the two buttons that download or delete all of it, and what the extension keeps on your machine.
Two questions get mixed up here: what is held on a server, and what is on your own machine. They have different answers and different buttons.
What stays in your browser
Parsing, scoring, tailoring, the fabrication guard and both file writers run in the tab. The resume text is not uploaded.
The one call that leaves is the sentence rewriter on a paid plan, and it sends the lines being rewritten. The queued application preparation sends the posting and your own evidence lines, to a provider configured to refuse data retention, because what is being sent is a candidate's employment history.
What is held on the account
- Your email address and name.
- A coarse shape of your career, used to decide which listings and which wording fit you.
- Your applications, tracker rows and their stages.
- Answers you typed to screener questions, so you are not asked twice.
- Documents you chose to save to your library.
The two buttons
Both are on the account screen, under "Your data".

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Export the tracker first if you want the record of what you sent.
You can also delete a single saved document, a single tracked job or a single answer, at any time, without deleting the rest.
On your own machine
The extension keeps a resume snapshot and your saved answers locally, so filling a form does not need a round trip. Forget everything, at the foot of the popup, clears both on that machine. Revoking a site permission from the browser's extensions page stops it running there.
Those are separate from the account. Clearing one does not clear the other.
Cancelling is not deleting
Cancelling a subscription stops the billing and leaves everything in place on the free tier. Deleting removes the rows. Do them in whichever order you want, but if you delete first, cancel as well, because a deleted account does not stop a subscription that lives with the payment provider.

Is my CV uploaded?
No. It is parsed, scored, tailored and written to a PDF or Word file by code running in your browser. The one call that leaves the tab is the AI rewrite on a paid plan, and it sends the lines being rewritten and nothing else.
Can I get a copy of everything?
Yes. Download everything, on the account screen, returns what is held about you.
Is deletion reversible?
No. It is immediate and cannot be undone, so export your tracker first if you want a record of what you sent.
How do I clear what the extension holds?
Forget everything, at the foot of the popup. It drops the resume snapshot and the saved answers from that machine.
