What Involve Resume does

The three jobs the product does, where each one runs, what it costs, and the things it refuses to do at all. Read this before anything else.

Involve Resume does three things. Everything on the screen is one of them, and knowing which is which saves a lot of clicking.

1. It finds jobs

An indexed board you can search, filter and read without an account and without paying. Each listing shows the role, the employer, the location, and the route an application would take if you sent one.

A posting with no description, or with no country and no remote flag, is held out of the index entirely rather than shown thin. That is why the board is smaller than an aggregator and why the listings on it can be scored.

2. It tailors the CV you already have

You upload one document. The product reorders it, rewords it and brings back evidence you wrote elsewhere, against one specific posting.

What it will not do is invent. A rewrite that introduces a number, an employer, a product or a date that is not in your own text is discarded by the fabrication guard, and you are told it was discarded. There is no repair path, because a rewrite whose reasoning cannot be traced is not one to keep half of.

Every change arrives as a before and after pair with a reason that names the employer's word and your word. Nothing is written to a file until you say yes.

3. It gets the application in front of the employer

Four routes, decided per listing and printed before you press anything:

Refused is a decision, not a gap. LinkedIn is never automated, because automating it risks your own account. Workday, SuccessFactors, iCIMS and Taleo need employer-issued credentials that no third party can hold, so they are excluded too.

Whatever route it took, the application lands on the tracker with a stage, a date and a record of which document went out.

What it costs to run, and therefore what is paid

Almost all of the work happens in your browser and costs nothing to serve. The paid steps are the ones that call a model: the sentence rewriter, and the single preparation call behind a queued application.

That is the whole logic of the price list. Reading the board is free. Editing and downloading a resume is free. Scoring a resume against a posting, tailoring, applying and the extension are paid, starting at a one-off three euro credit for a single document.

What it does not do

• It does not apply to every job automatically. Roughly three quarters of listings do not accept an application that way, from anyone.
• It does not write experience you do not have.
• It does not answer work authorisation, visa, citizenship, health, disability, ethnicity, gender or date of birth questions on a form.
• It does not submit anything from the toolbar button. A fill is a fill.
